Job summary

The Clearing House is seeking a Specialist, Payments Compliance to lead and execute payments compliance engagements for member banks and credit unions, both on site and remotely as needed. You will contribute to self-serve materials and act as a subject matter expert for education and member benefits.

Responsibilities include audits, risk assessments, and professional engagement reporting, with a focus on ACH systems, wire, check and card payments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with 2–4 years related experience.
• AAP certification preferred; willingness to obtain within two years.
• Knowledge of ACH, wire, check, and card payments is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries via phone and email with timely, high-quality support.
• Plan and execute payments-related audits, assessments, and consulting projects.
• Learn audit requirements and the company’s risk-based audit methods.
• Interact professionally with client personnel to complete engagements.
• Draft and deliver engagement reports in line with requirements.
