Job summary

One Inc, a leading payments platform, is seeking a Payments Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to card brand rules, ACH/Nacha requirements, and evolving electronic payment regulations. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for all card brands, ACH/Nacha, and electronic payment network rules, including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Nacha, Reg E, EFTA, RTP, FedNow, PayPal/Venmo, emerging methods
  • Review and track all card brand releases and network updates, evaluate impact, lead remediation with internal stakeholders, and draft client communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Nacha, banks, and payment processors (Fiserv, Bancorp, i2c) on regulatory compliance matters including AML-related inquiries, and UBO requirements, violations, due diligence reviews, and remediation oversight
  • Contribute to compliance readiness for our Canada expansion by researching Canadian payment regulations, and helping ensure new market launches meet all applicable requirements
  • Support Product and Client Compliance teams by reviewing consumer‑facing disclosures and product features for compliance with network rules and payment regulations
  • Maintain a library of required consumer-facing payment authorizations and disclosures mandated by card brands and payment networks
  • Own and maintain the ACH policy and conduct annual ACH risk assessments; maintain client‑facing ACH/Nacha documentation
  • Own Nacha compliance, including responsibility for the ACH audit with Audit team support, and oversee remediation of Nacha and other network audit findings.
  • Maintain a violations tracker and drive remediation of compliance issues identified by card brands, Nacha, banks, and payment processors
  • Develop relevant internal compliance resources, including FAQs, guidance documents, and standard responses to common questions.
  • Stay current on evolving card brand and Nacha rules and ensure timely internal communication of changes
  • Provide authoritative interpretation of payment regulations and payment facilitator (“PayFac”) requirements, including support with PayFac registration and ongoing compliance
  • Manage card brand settlement filings on an ad hoc basis
  • Scope excludes PCI DSS (managed by CISO).

Position Title: Payments Compliance Manager

Department: Legal & Compliance

Overview:

The Payments Compliance Manager serves as One Inc’s expert on card brand rules, ACH/Nacha requirements, and electronic payment regulations. This role monitors network changes, manages compliance issues with partners and processors, and ensures our products and client experiences meet all applicable payment standards. Reports to the Compliance Director.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for all card brands, ACH/Nacha, and electronic payment network rules, including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Nacha, Reg E, EFTA, RTP, FedNow, PayPal/Venmo, emerging methods

  • Background conducting audits, risk assessments, and maintaining policies
  • Familiarity with Canadian payment regulations (a plus)

Additional Requirements
