You will monitor evolving payments regulations and help develop templates, policies, and training.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree.
• 3 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
• Experience in commercial transactions or fintech.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements for Google's payment products.
• Provide practical legal advice to product, engineering, and business teams on risks and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate legal considerations into product development.
• Stay up-to-date on payments laws and industry trends; develop standard templates and policies.
• Assist with disputes and manage external counsel as needed.
