Job summary

Walmart is seeking a data-driven leader for the Marketplace Payments team in Sunnyvale. This role focuses on Payments and Financial Operations for Marketplace Sellers, developing strategies to strengthen settlements, reduce losses, and improve the seller payment experience.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Trust & Safety, Finance, and Risk to implement payment initiatives, build dashboards, and drive data-driven decisions that support growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent.
• 3+ years of data analytics experience in payments/ecommerce/risk.
• Experience partnering with product and technology teams.
• Proficiency with SQL and large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Execute initiatives to reduce payment losses and improve settlement operations.
• Analyze payment trends and identify root causes.
• Develop and optimize settlement rules to mitigate fraud.
• Lead end-to-end analytical projects improving seller payment experience.
