About the Position
As Thrive POS Payment Specialist, you will oversee all payments related operations and execute a strategic sales plan to grow revenue from both new and existing customers (merchants). Reporting to Thrive’s executive team, you will work closely with our Sales and Support teams to ensure customers (prospective, new and existing) are well supported with their payment processing needs throughout the entire client lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities
Educate prospective customers on processing rates/structures as they evaluate our software and deliver value to the sales process by working closely with our Account Executives to create a cohesive shopping experience.
Assist new customers during implementation by guiding them through the merchant underwriting process with our partner processor.
Build strong relationships with existing customers by serving as the point-person for all payments related inquiries / questions / concerns.
Develop a deep understanding of the different pricing strategies for our payments related revenue streams.
Manage prospect database and detailed sales activity history using Salesforce CRM.
Manage an ongoing account plan and collaborate with Thrive’s executive team to prepare and adapt to changes while minimizing customer attrition.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
A strong work ethic and the capacity to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Results oriented with an ability to work autonomously.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in payment processing, merchant services and financial services.
Familiarity with Payment Card Industry (PCI) regulations is a plus.
Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
