NRG Energy is hiring for a Customer Payments Representative in Lindon, Utah. You will engage with customers to resolve delinquent balances, update payment methods, and reinstate accounts while delivering an outstanding customer experience. Training is provided, with a fast-paced environment and opportunities to grow within the Customer Payments Team.

The role emphasizes objection handling, empathy, and solution-driven conversations to retain customers and protect essential smart home services.

Compensation:

• $17/hour base pay + monthly commission opportunities
  • Average Commissions: $250/month
  • Top Commissions: $500/month

Schedules:

• Training: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (4 Weeks)
• Hours of Operation: Monday - Saturday 6:00am - 7:00pm

Day in the Life:

Customer Payment Representatives use strong communication, negotiation, and problemsolving skills to resolve delinquent balances, retain customers, and restore accounts, all while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

• Process and update customer payment methods with accuracy.
• Reinstate accounts disconnected for nonpayment by guiding customers through tailored solutions.
• Use objection handling and conflictresolution techniques to help customers stay with Vivint.
• Identify the customers' needs quickly and offer creative, personalized solutions.
• Build strong rapport and maintain positive customer relationships in every interaction.
• Manage escalations within scope; demonstrate calm decision-making in challenging situations.
• Work closely with peers and leadership to identify process gaps and improve customer outcomes.
