Job summary

Banco Sabadell seeks a Payment Services Specialist to join our Florida team, handling daily wire transfers (FEDWIRE/SWIFT) and ensuring compliance with security checks and Travel Rule regulations.

You will monitor OFAC screening, assist in investigations, and support reconciliation and settlement activities within the Payments Services group, contributing to accurate processing and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of wire transfer procedures and related banking regulations.
• Ability to work accurately with banking systems and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Process daily wire transfers (Outgoing/Incoming/Internal) via FEDWIRE and SWIFT ALLIANCE.
• Verify customer instructions and security procedures (callbacks, signatures).
• Ensure Travel Rule compliance and other regulatory requirements for wire transfers.
• Monitor OFAC program engine and handle overrides as needed.
• Assist investigations related to wire transfer payments or pending issues.
• Assist in reconciling discrepancies in Payments Services.
• Follow Bank policies when performing Paying & Receiving transactions on T-24 and related equipment.
• Assist in Check 21 and ACH processing when necessary.
• Process wire transfers received through BS Online.
• Coordinate reception and sending of payment orders between SFC and MLOC II.
• Contribute to department objectives and regularization of pending transactions.

Banco Sabadell is seeking a Payment Services Specialist candidate to join a dynamic team within one of the fastest growing banks in Florida.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Incumbent will also collaborate with other positions that would need support when other employees are absent.

• Process daily wire transfers transactions (Outgoing / Incoming / Internal) via FEDWIRE and/or SWIFT ALLIANCE, using the systems established


• Verify that on the instructions of the customers are the procedures of security such as: call backs, and signature verifications


• Ensure the compliance of the Travel Rule and other related regulations when processing wire transfers


• Ensure that the OFAC program engine is working, there is always an override informing if the transaction has to be approved for OFAC


• Assist and gather information related to wire transfer payments investigations or pending issues, within the established guidelines


• Assist in reconciling any discrepancies related to the Payments Service area


• Comply with all Bank policies; ensuring that procedures are followed when performing Paying & Receiving transactions on the T-24 system and other equipment as required


• Assist in the process of Check 21 and ACH transactions if is necessary


• Process wire transfers received through BS Online


• Collaborate with duties or follow-ups of incidents or errors related to wire transfer payments investigations according with the established procedures


• Assist and support for coordinate the reception and sending of payment orders and other documentation between SFC and MLOC II


• Contribute to the fulfillment of department and Bank objectives and goals


• Assist in identifying pending transactions in reconciliation reports, and request information necessary for their regularization


• Perform other duties as assigned by managers according to Department needs
