Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process refunds for credits and ensure timely, accurate refunds to payers or patients.
• Post and balance electronic and manual payments and adjustments to patient accounts.
• Investigate unapplied payments and account discrepancies.
• Reconcile payments with balances and supporting documents.
• Maintain accurate records in departmental systems.
• Answer inquiries from patients, payers, and internal teams.
• Support quality checks and reporting on payments and refunds.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and financial controls.
• Collaborate with Finance and Revenue Cycle to resolve issues.
• Manage priorities to meet daily and month-end deadlines.
