Job summary

Cincinnati Children's is seeking a Regular, full-time Cash Posting Operations professional at the South Campus to compile and prepare patient charges, post claims, and ensure charges are billed accurately to third-party payers.

You will coordinate with multiple departments, provide financial counseling to families, determine Medicaid eligibility where needed, manage accounts receivable data, and support quality reporting and system updates to maintain efficient billing processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No directly related experience.

Responsibilities

• Billing - Compile and prepare patient charges. Prepare invoices, UB-04 and 1500 claim forms to be sent to 3rd party payers for payment; review charges; obtain and evaluate resources for payment of charges; ensure procedures are billed according to contracts; transmit or mail all paper and claims; review correspondence and follow up as needed.
