Oceans Healthcare is seeking a Payment Poster to ensure accurate posting of payments, write-offs, and EOBs within a fast-paced revenue cycle environment. The role emphasizes confidentiality and precise balancing of accounts while supporting daily reporting requirements.

The position requires high-volume data entry, familiarity with insurance benefits, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a healthcare billing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting insurance plan benefits, conditions of payment, and billing requirements.
• Experience with high-volume data entry.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data.
• Familiarity with FTC collection regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Post all payments received from the bank lockbox within 24 hours.
• Post contractual allowances and other write-offs as authorized by supervisor.
• Post non-payments EOBs from payers using appropriate transaction codes.
• Post and reconcile all ERAs to bank balance.
• Scan and upload EOBs remit and related documents to document storage.
• Post refunds as authorized by management.
• Ensure accurate account balances for proper processing and reporting.
• Investigate posting errors and make corrections as required.
• Complete daily and weekly productivity/performance reporting as directed by management.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
