Qualifications

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Medical Billing Payment Poster to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the EPIC electronic health record system and a strong understanding of medical billing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• - Post payments received from insurance companies, patients, and other payers into the EPIC system accurately and promptly.
• - Reconcile payments with billing records to ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
• - Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and remittance advice to verify payment details.
• - Collaborate with billing and coding teams to address any payment issues or denials.
• - Maintain organized records of all posted payments and related documentation.
• - Assist in generating reports related to payment posting activities and financial reconciliation.
• - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies during all payment posting activities.
• - Reviewing and resolving unapplied/unidentified payments and credit balances to help ensure everything is accurately posted and reconciled.
