Job summary

Renalcare-Associates-1 in Peoria, IL is seeking a full-time Billing Specialist to ensure accurate billing and timely reimbursement for our physician-led practice. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, experienced in medical billing, and proficient with billing software and EMR systems such as EPIC.

Key duties include preparing and submitting claims, reviewing patient accounts, resolving denials, posting payments, and maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• A key job requirement is prior experience in medical billing.
• Proficiency with billing software, databases or other financial tools is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and EPIC or another electronic EMR system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting accurate claims to insurance companies, government payers and patients.
