Florida Neurology Group PL is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Payment Poster to support our EPIC-based billing operations in the practice. The role focuses on posting payments, reconciling records, and ensuring accurate patient and payer reporting.

The ideal candidate has experience with EPIC or similar EHR systems, strong data-entry accuracy, and the ability to resolve payment discrepancies while collaborating with billing and coding teams to maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with medical billing and payment posting, preferably in EPIC or similar EHR systems.
• Strong understanding of medical billing, coding, and insurance reimbursement.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to analyze and resolve payment discrepancies efficiently.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical billing/coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Post payments from insurers and patients into the EPIC system accurately and promptly.
• Reconcile payments with billing records and resolve discrepancies.
• Review EOBs and remittance advice to verify payment details.
• Collaborate with billing and coding teams to resolve payment issues.
• Maintain organized records of all posted payments and related documentation.
• Assist in generating reports on payment posting and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
• Review and resolve unapplied/unidentified payments and credit balances.
