Job summary

Zillion Technologies Inc. is seeking a Digital Payments Operations Specialist to support wire transfers, faster payments, and related processes. The role requires strong risk and compliance awareness, critical thinking, and attention to detail to prevent errors and losses.

This hybrid position in Vienna, VA offers a long-term contract, 3 contractors on 7PM-3:30AM shifts, and a benefits package. Applicants must be US citizens or eligible for employment; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of wire transfers, cashier’s checks, faster payments, Western Union and related processes.
• Understanding of OFAC screening, BSA requirements and fraud prevention controls.
• Ability to analyze complex payment scenarios and resolve exceptions efficiently.
• Strong focus on accuracy to prevent errors and financial losses.
• Effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Job Description:

Payment Operations Expertise – Demonstrates solid knowledge of wire transfers, cashier’s checks, faster payments, Western Union, and related operational processes

Risk and Compliance Awareness – Understands and applies regulatory requirements, including OFAC screening, fraud prevention controls, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, and internal policies to mitigate operational and compliance risk

Critical Thinking and Problem Solving – Analyzes complex payment scenarios, identifies root causes, resolves exceptions efficiently, and makes sound decisions while balancing member service, risk, and operational requirements

Detail Oriented – Maintains a high level of accuracy when reviewing payment instructions, account information, and supporting documentation to prevent errors and financial losses

Communication and Collaboration – Effectively partners with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues, provide updates, and support operational objectives
