Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is seeking a Payment Integrity Senior Project Manager in Boston/Hingham to lead critical, high-visibility projects ensuring accurate health care claim payments. You will drive end-to-end delivery, manage budgets, plans, and stakeholders, and report project status to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience in project management leading complex, large-scale projects.
• Proven track record of implementing projects within healthcare payment integrity or claims processing.
• Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies and proficiency with PM software like Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence senior management.
• In-depth understanding of project lifecycle and cross-functional execution.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end management of highly visible payment integrity projects from planning to post-launch analysis.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Lead cross-functional teams across IT, Claims, Analytics, and Provider Relations.
• Serve as primary point of contact for status updates and reports to senior leadership.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.
• Drive execution of tasks, manage deliverables, and track milestones.
• Define and track KPIs and communicate business impact to leadership.
