Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts in Boston is seeking a Payments Integrity Project Manager to drive end-to-end delivery of high-visibility initiatives, ensuring on-time, on-budget results and positive business impact.

You will lead cross-functional teams (IT, Claims, Analytics, Provider Relations), apply Agile or Waterfall methods, manage risks, and communicate with senior leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on project management experience with large, visible initiatives.
• Healthcare payment integrity or claims processing experience.
• Expertise in PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and proficiency with PM software.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication with senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payment integrity projects from planning to launch and post-launch analysis.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, scopes, timelines, and budgets.
• Lead cross-functional teams across IT, Claims, Analytics, and Provider Relations.
• Provide clear, regular status updates to senior leadership.
• Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies.
• Drive task execution and ensure milestone delivery.
• Define KPIs and report business impact to leadership.
