Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC is seeking a payments processor to accurately post payments from insurance carriers and patients. You will balance daily tasks between the practice management system and bank reports while navigating multiple software platforms.

• Ability to work under pressure and to work flexible hours to meet deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in processing cash and insurance payment transactions in a medical setting or a relevant financial background or any combination of the two is preferred.
• Understanding of insurance payment processes and how to read an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) is preferred.
• Ability to process a large amount of transactions with a high degree of accuracy preferred. Proficient in working with figures and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to work flexible hours to meet deadlines.
