Qualifications

• Experience with medical terminology, ICD and CPT coding is preferred.
• Procedural data entry with insurance requirements experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily tasks in the Managed Care department including daily clinic A/R reports and reconciliation of totals.
• Assist with Intake and Utilization Management duties and managed care approvals.
• Handle Financial Aid processes as part of patient access and billing workflows.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for performing assigned daily tasks that fall under the Managed Care department that includes but not limited to completing daily clinic A/R (Accounts Receivables) reports, calculating and reconciling daily/monthly clinic collection totals and percentages; assistance with all aspects of the Intake and Utilization Management duties; all aspects of managed care approvals; and Financial Aid.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two (2) years of experience working in healthcare field (preferably in a clinical setting or business office) is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills needed.
• Procedure data entry with experience in insurance requirements.
• Medical terminology, ICD and CPT coding experience needed.
