Job summary

Orsini seeks an entry‑level Payer Services Account Executive to lead payer contracting and credentialing activities and coordinate contract implementation with internal teams and external partners.

You will cultivate relationships with third‑party payers and vendors, resolve out‑of‑network issues, and ensure accurate contract status. Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0–1 years of related experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to build and maintain productive payer and vendor relationships.
  • Ability to effectively use organizational systems to track, troubleshoot, and communicate contract status and requirements.
  • Experience with payer contracting, credentialing, managed care, pharmacy, or healthcare (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead payer contracting efforts through prospecting and credentialing activities.

  • Complete required reporting and maintain accurate account and contract information.
  • Utilize organizational applications and systems to troubleshoot and communicate contract status and requirements.
  • Support achievement of assigned contracting, credentialing, and project milestones.
  • Escalate payer or vendor issues appropriately and support timely resolution.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Payer Services Account Executive leads payer contracting and credentialing activities and supports the accurate and complete implementation of payer agreements across internal and external stakeholders.

This role develops and maintains relationships with third-party payers and vendors while helping resolve out-of-network issues, payment discrepancies, and contract implementation needs.
