Job summary

Orsini is seeking a Director, Account and Program Management to bridge PM and Operations, ensuring aligned launches and proactive execution. The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration across specialty pharmacy services.

You will oversee strategy, oversee process improvements, and travel for quarterly reviews to optimize product launches and client outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college or school of pharmacy preferred.
  • Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in good standing.
  • Must maintain pharmacist licensure as required for the assigned state(s) or jurisdiction(s).
  • 8–12 years of relevant professional experience, including 3–5 years of people management, supervisory, or team leadership experience.
  • Experience with rare and orphan disease programs preferred.
  • Experience with HUB services and specialty pharmacy operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Bridge PM and Operations to align all stakeholders for each launch.
  • Drive launch success by identifying gaps and ensuring proactive teams.
  • Use data to monitor launches and identify trends for improvement.
  • Address roadblocks before they impact launches.
  • Lead and coach a high-performing Program Management team.
  • Travel for quarterly business reviews and meetings as needed.

COMPENSATION

The anticipated salary range for this position is based on work location and pharmacist licensure:

Elk Grove Village, IL
  • Licensed Pharmacist: $155,000–$170,000 annually
  • Non-Pharmacist: $115,000–$130,000 annually
Columbus, OH
  • Licensed Pharmacist: $145,000–$160,000 annually
  • Non-Pharmacist: $110,000–$125,000 annually

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, licensure, and other job‑related considerations.

POSITION SUMMARY

TheDirector,Account and Program Management, servesas the intermediary between the ProgramManagement (PM) and Operations (Ops) teams, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration to drivepre- and post-launchsuccess.This individual will alsobe responsible forensuringstrategicandinsightdriven approach with current accounts.The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to analyze data,identifygaps in processes, and implement expedited solutions that enhance efficiency and collaboration. This rolealso includes direct people management responsibilities, providing leadership, coaching, and engagement within theProgram Managementteam. Theywill work closely with key stakeholdersacross functionstoaccelerate the success of product launches and ensure the operational teams are proactive in addressing challenges before they arise.The role requires consistent travel for quarterly business reviews, manufacturer meetings, and other business engagements as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Intermediary Role:Serve as the key bridge between the ProgramManagement and Operations teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and working toward success for each launch.
  • Launch Success Management: Drive the successful launch of alllaunches byidentifyinggaps,facilitatingcommunication, and ensuring that operations and project management teams are accountable and proactive in their approach.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data and analytics tomonitorand assess the performance of launches,identifytrends and areas for improvement to ensure the efficient delivery of services.
  • Challenge Resolution: Work closely with key stakeholders, toanticipateand address potential roadblocks or challenges before they become obstacles to launch success.
  • Collaboration & Accountability: Foster a culture of collaboration between teams while holding both Project Management and Operations accountable for proactive problem‑solving and timelyexecution.
  • Process Optimization: Recognize trends across launches and develop strategies to create efficiencies, streamline processes, and enhance the overall success rate of launches.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide regular feedback to senior leadership on the performance of launches, offering actionable insights for continuous improvement and ensuringa high levelof service for specialty pharmacy clients
  • People Management & Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team, ensuring accountability, professional growth, and collaboration. Provide guidance and performance feedback to drive results and engagement.
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • Extensive knowledge of customized patient support services for specialty drugs.
  • Strong project management and program implementation experience.
  • Proven ability to build andmaintainmanufacturer partnerships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and organization skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
