Qualifications

• Two years of secretarial or administrative experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong English reading and writing skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the payer enrollment credentialing and re-credentialing process for all providers.
• Maintain enrollment timelines; communicate with providers and departments to update as needed.
• Track licensure, certificates, insurance, and other credentials for employed providers.
• Maintain current credentialing status with third party payers; respond to inquiries and follow up on documentation.
• Assist in managing the Managed Care database and ensure data integrity for appointments and reappointments.
• Oversee migration of enrollment data to the MD Staff system and maintain rosters.
• Obtain credentialing data (medical degree verification, DEA, licenses, CVs, malpractice insurance) and ensure confidentiality.
• Oversee CAQH and New Mexico Medicaid enrollment and re-enrollment processes.
• Coordinate with clinic managers to obtain missing enrollment documentation and signatures.
