Job summary

ROCKCREST is seeking an experienced Paycor Consultant to support clients across implementation phases and post-go-live optimization. You will troubleshoot, configure, and optimize Paycor environments while training administrators and managers.

The role demands translating business needs into Paycor configurations and delivering sustained client guidance. The ideal candidate rapidly understands client requirements, identifies root causes, and recommends practical Paycor solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience administering, implementing, supporting, or consulting within Paycor.
• Strong knowledge of payroll and HR business processes.
• Experience across multiple Paycor modules and functional areas.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into system configuration and process recommendations.
• Experience supporting implementations, system conversions, or post-go-live optimization.
• Strong client-facing communication and training skills.
• Ability to explain system concepts clearly to users with varying levels of technical experience.
• Comfortable managing multiple client priorities and working independently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a functional subject matter expert across the Paycor platform.
• Troubleshoot configuration, payroll, HR, timekeeping, reporting, integration, permissions, and process-related issues.
• Review existing Paycor environments and identify opportunities to improve configuration, workflows, automation, reporting, and system utilization.
• Support clients during pre-implementation planning, configuration, testing, validation, and go-live readiness.
• Provide post-implementation stabilization and optimization support.
• Assist with payroll reconciliation, data validation, system cleanup, and configuration changes as needed.
• Deliver client training for administrators, managers, and other system users.
• Create or assist with process documentation, job aids, and client-specific procedures.
• Work with Paycor support or other resources when issues require escalation.
• Help clients become more confident and self-sufficient in managing their Paycor environment.
