Job summary

FRESHPACK in Wisconsin is seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team. This role aims to meet production schedules by safely operating packaging equipment, setting up lines, and assisting with line changes.

The position offers a NEW Pay for Performance program, a Friday pay schedule, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). You will train and support teammates while upholding food safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, food production, packaging, or machine operation preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schedules, instructions, and product specs.
• Basic math and computer literacy; strong attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, adjust, and troubleshoot packaging equipment to maintain production.
• Monitor product quality and ensure finished products meet specs.
• Follow food safety, GMP, and safety requirements.
• Maintain production records and logs, including downtime tracking.
• Report equipment, quality, or process issues to supervisors.
• Assist with line changeovers, startups, and new product trials.
• Support continuous improvement to boost efficiency and quality.
• Train and assist new or transferred employees on operation and safety.
• Keep a clean, organized, and food-safe work area.
