Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking entry-level, full-time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate for our pawn stores nationwide. You will greet customers, process sales and loans, and assist with transactions across a wide range of merchandise.

The role offers hourly pay plus up to 8% commission, Earned Wage Access after two days, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), vacation, and employee discounts. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop a rapport to better provide and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains the display of merchandise.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards
• Effectively communicates to customers the legal aspects of the pawn and buy transactions.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Successfully completes the assigned training.
• Other related duties, as assigned.
