Job summary

Cash America Pawn is seeking entry-level, full-time Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate to join our pawn stores nationwide. The role offers hourly pay plus commission and opportunities to earn up to 8% on transactions.

Expected base hourly range is $10.75–$13.00 with benefits including health coverage, earned wage access, and paid vacation after eligibility. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and ability to work weekends, with training and growth potential across locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to handle cash and perform basic math calculations.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with firearms is a plus where applicable.
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and provide solutions.
• Perform open/close procedures as needed.
• Keep sales floor clean, stocked, and merchandise displayed.
• Handle sales and loan transactions per policies and regulations.
• Process cash and negotiable items per procedures.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain pawn and buy transactions' legal aspects to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Collaborate with staff to create a positive customer experience.
• Complete assigned training and other duties as needed.
