The position manages portions of a $10 million annual paving program with projects ranging from $25,000 to $5 million. Occasional field labor and after-hours shifts may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from high school, technical school and/or a college program in a related area.
• Three years' experience in construction management, inspection, or contract administration on maintenance methods for asphalt, concrete, water or sewer systems.

Aufgaben

• Managing paving activities including pavement surveys, mill & overlay, asphalt restoration, sidewalk and curb work.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specs to ensure correct field implementation.
• Communicating with civic associations, BIDs, and property owners regarding project plans.
• Coordinating project schedules with adjacent and external projects.
• Maintaining asset data and work orders in Cartegraph.
• Monitoring contractor performance for timeliness and budget adherence.
• Assisting in annual budget development and administrative tasks for projects.
• Obtaining permits and maintaining project documentation and reports.
• Performing required field labor for layout, measurements, inspections, and related tasks.
• Overseeing snow removal operations as needed.
