Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking qualified equipment operators to place hot-mix asphalt at construction sites and operate various power construction equipment safely. The role requires reading grade stakes and automated machine controls to achieve plan grades while navigating tight spaces around crews, traffic, and utilities.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid driver's license, may have a CDL, and must be punctual, dependable, and adaptable to varied hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
• CDL is desired but not required.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
• Able to tolerate variable weather conditions and work in dirty/dusty environments.
• Union membership is required or willingness to become a union member.
