Scotty's Contracting and Stone, LLC is accepting applications for Paving Laborers. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on safety and a desire for a long-term career with us.

Key Responsibilities:

• Level asphalt using a rake to meet grade specifications
• Drive pins with a sledgehammer, dig with a pick and shovel
• Hook up trailers and attach equipment
• Set up traffic control, including barrels and cones, and perform flagging duties
• Smooth and shovel asphalt and other materials
• Maintain equipment and tools
• Assist team members and perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Physical Requirements:

• Work outdoors in varying weather and terrain
• Work safely near equipment and traffic
• Climb equipment safely, often over 6 feet high
• Maintain balance on uneven surfaces
• Corrected vision of 20/40 or better
• Hear safety warnings and instructions
• Perform physical tasks including lifting and maneuvering heavy parts
