Job summary

CRH Mississippi is seeking a heavy equipment operator to join a safety‑driven team on road and site construction projects. You will operate various heavy machinery, perform inspections, and work under the Foreman’s guidance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus prior construction experience. Candidates must be able to travel, work nights/weekends, and adhere to all safety policies. CRH offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Previous related experience in construction field and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on road, site, or highway construction and paving projects.
• Report problems to supervisor and follow Foreman directions for daily tasks.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to OSHA/MSHA regulations.
• Perform daily pre- and post-inspections and document results.
• Assist in training less-experienced employees and perform general labor tasks.
