Job summary

Lone Star Paving, a Central Texas paving contractor, seeks a Distributor Driver to support our paving crew superintendent and keep prime scheduling on track. Familiarity with heavy highway paving operations is preferred.

You will operate the distributor truck, monitor gauges, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and maintain equipment while complying with safety policies. This is a full-time, on-site role with overtime and Texas-wide travel.

Qualifications

• Organized and detail-oriented mindset required.
• Ability to work with others in a team setting and maintain safety as a culture.
• familiarity with distributor trucks and asphalt operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply prime/oil on road surfaces.
• Operate distributor truck and regulate spray bar; monitor gauges for even distribution.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain and clean the distributor truck; record inspections.
• Assist with fuel, fluids, tires, and general vehicle upkeep; wear appropriate PPE; comply with safety policies.
