Job summary

Lone Star Paving in Central Texas is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to work with the Trucking Manager, scheduling transport of equipment and materials to project sites. Ideal candidates know paving operations on heavy highways and hold a valid Class A or B CDL with a clean record.

Qualifications

• CDL license (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
• Must meet DOT employment requirements.
• Clear FMCSA Clearinghouse record.
• Minimum 2 years of truck driving experience.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Positive, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Team player with good communication.
• Commitment to safety and company safety policies.
• Willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport equipment and materials to job locations.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and maintenance needs.
• Assist concrete crews and perform light labor when required.
• Record fueling, fluid levels, tire and safety checks.
• Complete trip tickets and paperwork accurately.
• Use phone/apps to track times and routes.
• Maintain clean and compliant vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
