Job summary

Lone Star Paving, a paving contractor in Central Texas, is seeking a Distributor Driver to support paving crews and prime operations. You will work with the superintendent to determine schedules and ensure proper distribution of asphalt materials across projects.

The role requires a CDL, DOT compliance, and at least 2 years of experience. Applicants should be team players with a safety-first mindset and readiness for overtime and travel within Texas.

Qualifications

• CDL required and DOT employment rules followed.
• Experience operating distributor trucks and asphalt equipment preferred.
• Must be organized with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Safety policy adherence and teamwork emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Apply prime/oil to road surfaces and regulate spray bar heating.
• Operate and monitor distributor truck gauges for even distribution.
• Connect hoses, regulate pumps, and perform daily maintenance.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and record keeping.
• Collaborate with paving crew and supervisor on schedules.
