Job summary

The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a Dispatcher – Paving to manage the daily paving schedule, equipment and trucking requirements. The role involves coordinating with paving crews, organizing GPS geofences, and maintaining timely communications with Project Management to ensure on-time execution.

Ideal candidates will have strong MS Office skills, knowledge of paving operations, and the ability to multitask while adapting to different personalities.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of paving operations and equipment.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to different personalities.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Safety policies and promote Safety first.
• Organize and publish the Daily Paving Schedule.
• Coordinate with Paving Crews and adjust trucks as needed.
• Create and manage GPS geofences and monitor GPS in real time.
• Review and approve trucker time sheets and outside trucking hours.
• Assist with DOT physicals scheduling and medical card processes.
• Coordinate equipment moves and trucking logistics.
• Track and report on material and milling status.
• Attend weekly paving schedule meetings and prep for trucking requirements.
• Maintain tracking spreadsheets and DOT compliance records.
