Louisiana State University seeks a Pavement Research Facility Manager to lead the LTRC Pavement Research Facility, supervise facility operations, and oversee the Accelerated Loading Facility and related test machines. The role combines hands-on leadership with engineering expertise in pavement testing and data collection.

Candidates should have a civil engineering background and 3+ years of experience; a Master's degree and PE are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering or related field with 3 years of experience.
• Master's degree in Civil engineering preferred with 3 years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred; leadership and management experience.

Responsabilités

• Supervise the Pavement Research Facility operations and PTMs, including staff and equipment.
• Monitor PTM test section construction, collect data, and document results.
• Prepare plans, specifications, and reports for PRF experiments; manage inventory and procurement.
• Provide training and leadership; perform essential facility tasks when needed.
• Support safe operation of the PRF and assist with other duties as assigned.
