Job summary

The City of Beaumont is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead a small crew in laying out streets for pavement markings. You will operate thermo-plastic and striping machines to paint crosswalks and stop lines, install traffic buttons or reflectors, and assist in sign maintenance.

This position requires on-site work and safe transport of workers and equipment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in traffic markings or related maintenance; supervisory

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• One (1) year experience in traffic markings or related maintenance required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small crew in laying out streets for marking and painting traffic markings.
• Operate thermo-plastic machines, striping machines, and pavement marking equipment.
• Paint crosswalks, stop lines, and install traffic buttons or reflectors.
• Assist in sign maintenance and installations; inspect markings for quality.
• Maintain records of sign installation and transport workers and equipment safely.
• 100% on-site work; overtime as needed.
