Job summary

Acuren is seeking temporary PAUT Technicians for Turnaround/Outage/Project work across the United States. Technicians will be part of the U.S. Workforce Deployment Team, supporting staffing needs with varying project durations.

Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or GED and Level II PAUT certification. Duties include setup, PAUT operation, data interpretation, and reporting; travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Level II PAUT certification per Written Practice.
• Documented training hours to maintain Level II certification.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings.
• Strong understanding of ultrasonic testing and PAUT techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform PAUT inspections per codes, standards, and procedures.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate PAUT equipment on welds and vessels.
• Interpret data and determine acceptance criteria.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain documentation.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and quality.
• Travel to client sites and work varying schedules, including overtime.
