Job summary

Acuren is seeking PAUT Technicians to support operations in Cincinnati, OH. The role requires a strong NDT background with PAUT qualifications and the ability to work onsite with safety compliance.

Responsibilities include conducting inspection tests, evaluating results, and preparing detailed project reports. Candidates with supervisory experience and ASME/API knowledge are preferred. Travel may be required to support client engagements.

Qualifications

• Technical background in NDT methods with five years of experience.
• Current NDT certifications in UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, etc.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Ability to interpret inspection results and apply testing criteria.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for proper examination and ensure safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Identify, track, and mitigate risk on client engagements.
• Review asset documentation and NDE activities.
• Prepare project reports with conclusions and recommendations.
• Possibly instruct and supervise others.
• Ensure compliance with ASME and API requirements.
