Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical background in NDT (UT, PAUT, other methods) with five years experience.
• Current NDT certifications required.
• Supervisor experience is a plus.
• Ability to interpret inspection results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for proper examination, ensuring safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Identify and mitigate risk on client engagements; escalate when needed.
• Review asset documentation and inspection data.
• Complete integrity assessments including site walkdowns.
• Prepare project reports with descriptions, conclusions and recommendations.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• Develop techniques for customer certifications approval.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Interface with customers regarding schedules and problem solving.
• Use applicable software and equipment.
