Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking PAUT and/or UTSW Technicians to support operations in Indianapolis, IN. This will be a callout/travel position, with assignments at client sites as needed.

Responsibilities include performing NDT tests, developing examination techniques, applying inspection criteria, preparing project reports, and possibly supervising others while ensuring safety and adherence to ASME/API standards. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.
• Technical background in NDT (UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, etc.) with five years experience.
• Current NDT certifications in (METHOD/S; UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, etc.) required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Review asset documentation and operating data from NDE activities.
• Prepare project reports with descriptions, conclusions and recommendations.
• Travel may be required and may supervise others.
