Job summary

Artful Home is looking for a skilled Pattern Maker to join their team in Los Angeles, CA.   • Create and revise women's apparel patterns.

Base Pay: $60,000.00 – $90,000.00 / Year

The primary purposes of this job are to keep the sample queue moving by cutting fabric accurately to patterns in a timely manner, preparing fully graded patterns to be ready for photo samples and/or production, and preparing markers based on production orders.

Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions
  • Focuses on Artful Home’s Vision and Values. Considers the best interest of Artful Home and its team members, artists, and customers, while performing job duties.
  • Contributes to an environment in which all team members are respected and included regardless of their individual differences and feel motivated to improve individual and work area contributions to achieve desired business results.
  • Assists with digitally creating and revising women's apparel patterns, including knit and woven. Tech packs with specs are provided to the pattern maker for 1st patterns and revisions.
  • Creates 1st patterns and pattern cards, making revisions per fit notes.
  • Finalizes sample patterns to be sent for marking and grading.
  • Patterns must be made digitally using Gerber software.
Marginal Functions
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Overtime as required.

Requirements
  • Patternmaking and revision experience is required.
  • Experience making patterns digitally using recent versions of Gerber software is required.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (including Excel) is required.
