Qualifications

• PhD or MS with relevant industry or graduate research experience.
• BS with 4+ years in leading foundry or dry etch equipment supplier.
• Hands-on experience in dry etch semiconductor manufacturing and process optimization.
• Experience with plasma etch fundamentals, plasma–surface interactions, and defect mechanisms.
• Experience delivering dry etch solutions improving yield, reliability, or manufacturability.
• Expertise in DOE and statistical analysis using JMP, Python, or MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Drive tech development for future technology and high-volume manufacturing.
• Own and drive development of next-generation patterning processes and qualification methodologies.
• Plan and execute comprehensive characterization plans and DOE studies.
• Establish control systems to optimize production performance (SPC, alarms, recipes).
• Provide technical leadership for cross-functional problem solving and risk communication.
• Collaborate with suppliers to develop enabling elements of the technology.
• Mentor engineers and influence stakeholders across projects.
• Lead modification recommendations to improve production efficiency and output.
