Job summary

Hitachi Vantara Corporation seeks a Process Engineer I–V in Hillsboro, OR to support plasma etch and dry etch processes for advanced semiconductor manufacturing. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop, optimize, and demonstrate processes for current and future technology nodes.

The role requires hands-on engineering, data analysis, and documentation, with occasional travel for onsite customer support.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent for PE I.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field for PE V.

Responsibilities

• Perform responsibilities safely and in accordance with Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures.
• Learn and upskill to latest equipment and technology through on-the-job training.
• Provide hands-on process engineering development, research, and evaluation to meet customer requirements.
• Work within a matrix environment, interfacing with internal customers and teams.
• Support project and development tasks with data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Lead small projects with manageable risks when required.
