Job summary

Jefferson County Public Library in Conifer seeks two part-time Patron Experience Associates to deliver frontline customer service for a diverse community. You will help patrons find books, access digital resources, and explore library programs, contributing to a welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork, with 20 hours per week and eligibility for standard benefits. Evening/weekend shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Preferred: Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides information, referrals and reader’s advisory assistance to patrons in person, by phone, mail and via electronic means.
• Locates materials using manual and electronic databases and refers patrons to resources.
• Promotes and presents programs, classes, workshops both in the Library and off site.
• Keeps the general appearance and safety of the division and Library as a whole.
• May assist in coordinating work and schedules of staff and volunteers.
