Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Guard Patrol in Winchester, VA. You will serve and safeguard clients across logistics and distribution locations, monitor areas, and provide exceptional customer service while using technology to document activity.

This full-time role requires patrolling duties, strong communication, and a professional presence to deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related activities.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, or operational concerns that may affect the location, and communicate findings to appropriate personnel.
