Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA. The role includes conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access points and alarm activity, and providing welcoming customer service to tenants and visitors.

This full-time, unarmed position requires a valid California driver’s license and offers the pay rate of $22.39 per hour. You’ll work several shifts per week with day and evening options and join a team that values integrity and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license in the state of California.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff.
• Conduct regular patrols by foot or vehicle across the site.
• Monitor access points and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and alarms following site procedures.
• Document daily activities and incidents in required reports.
