Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Full Time - Patrol Driver in Milan, IL. You will perform routine patrols at an industrial site, deter incidents with a visible presence, and manage access control while providing exceptional customer service.

A valid driver’s license is required to operate patrol vehicles. This role follows the listed schedule and requires the ability to lift up to 20 lbs and pass a background check and drug screen as part of Allied Universal’s employment

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license and ability to drive as part of patrols.
• Experience with customer service is preferred.
• Access control and badge management experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs or more is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking, access points, and perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Verify visitor, contractor, and employee credentials and document entry/exit activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency services.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports and communicate information to leadership.
