Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Full Time - Patrol Driver in Milan, IL. You will perform routine patrols, manage access control, and provide excellent customer service on a manufacturing site. A valid driver’s license and strong reliability are required.

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Patrol Driver in Milan, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM


• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM


• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM


• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM


• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security‑related concerns.


• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and employee credentials in accordance with site procedures and documenting entry and exit activity.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.


• Complete required daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and incoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.


• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
