Job summary

The Green County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Patrol Deputy for a full-time role. Starting pay is $30.21 per hour with a night shift differential, including a comprehensive benefits package and uniform provided.

Opportunities for advancement include dual-certified roles, special assignments, and incentive pay for physical readiness. Applicants must meet academy, age, citizenship, and background requirements, and be able to work a rotating 12-hour schedule with every other Friday-Saturday-Sunday

Qualifications

• Must have completed a 720-hour LESB-certified academy program.
• Minimum age 21 and U.S. citizen.
• No felonies or certain domestic violence offenses.
• Good character and no disqualifying conditions.
• Ability to meet physical requirements and vision 20/20.
• Valid driver’s license and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Patrol traffic and criminal law enforcement.
• Supervise inmates and coordinate court services.
• Handle civil process and related duties.
