Job summary

Quanex is seeking a Patio Security Screen Door (PSSD) Operator for the 1st shift in Rice Lake, WI. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm with variable overtime during peak season.

Qualifications

• Dependable with strong attendance and reliability.

• Experience in manufacturing using basic machinery and hand tools including saws, punches, presses, staple guns, hammers and screwdrivers.

Responsibilities

• Follow manufacturing orders, drawings, setup charts to assemble, package and label products per customer specs.
• Set up and operate equipment across multiple product families, including tooling changes and adjustments.
• Inspect parts, perform quality checks and maintain production records.
• Requisition materials, clear jams, clean and lubricate equipment, dispose of scrap and keep work area organized.
• Collaborate with team members, prioritize tasks and meet production goals.
• Follow safety procedures, maintain attendance, and work overtime as needed.

Quanex is looking for aPatio Security Screen Door (PSSD) Operator- 1st Shift to join our team located in Rice Lake, WI.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm.| Overtime needs vary daily during the busy season.

The hourly range for this position begins at $20.50 per hourwith opportunity for pay increase on an annual basis.

What Success Looks Like:

• Follow manufacturing orders, drawings, setup charts, and verbal or written instructions to assemble, package, and label products according to customer specifications.


• Set up and operate equipment across multiple product families, including tooling changes, changeovers, machine adjustments, and troubleshooting.


• Inspect parts, perform and document required quality checks, and maintain basic production records.


• Requisition materials, clear jams, clean and lubricate equipment, dispose of scrap, and maintain an organized work area.


• Collaborate with team members, prioritize assignments, and work efficiently to meet production goals.
