Mercy is seeking a patient transporter to move patients and equipment across the Medical Center, ensuring safety and proper body mechanics. You will work with colleagues across departments, maintain supply levels, and use Epic software to track patient locations and equipment movement.

Strong customer service and teamwork are essential as you support a compassionate care environment. Preferred education is a high school diploma, and prior customer service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of customer service experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) certification.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Prolonged standing and walking during shifts.
• Uses Epic software to track patient location and equipment movement.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and equipment within the Medical Center.
• Collaborate with staff across departments to ensure safe transfers.
• Maintain PAR levels for equipment and monitor supply movements.
